Looking to use vibrant to get rid of some bubble algae iv inherited from somewhere? Question is will it kill my algae’s I have in my sump ?

It’s made by triton it kills all known algae without harming fish or corals ?

Not heard of it but sounds like the stuff i use on the pond.Fish friendly and kills all the algae, not sure for a marine tank and if it does what it says on the tin . I would say it would kill your sump algae as well.

Thanks mate might be worth keeping some of my sump algae in a separate container while I treat then just in case?
It’s definitely for marine tanks watched a few vids and reviews online

If it does work, it's something I could use as I've got some red algae thats bloomin annoying and the tangs don't eat it lol

It will wipe out red algae mate no problem just check out vibrant reef cleaner online mate

My friend goes to the states soon so I'll get him to get me a bottle as its far cheaper over their😁

I've got some coming from the states so I'll give it a try. By all accounts its just a bacterial additive that out competes algae, its basically a form of carbon dosing. $29 in the states apparently.

You can buy Vibrant from Aquarium Connections (uk)

It's got a blend of bacteria and it also contains 5% vodka.

I've not had to use the bottle I got yet. I was told the zoas loose colour after using it.

He's already on the plane to his next destination I'm afraid. But he travels a lot so maybe next time round I'll get another one or two 😊
